Our Youth Program is currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed teen volunteers to assist with programs and seasonal special events and other volunteer opportunities. This is a great way to build leadership skills and gain valuable experience fora resume. All interested youth must sign up for Volunteer Orientation at front office.

529 Bike Lock
In partnership with Project 529, the Vancouver Police Department, City of Vancouver and Vancouver Park Board are piloting a free bike lock loaner program.
Abus bike locks will be available at Creekside, False Creek and Mount Pleasant community centres during operating hours as long as the customers have met the following conditions:
-have a OneCard with photo in ActiveNet
-signed a waiver
The lock and key must be returned within 24 hours in good condition.

To all members of the Mount Pleasant Community Centre Association:
There will be a General Meeting at 6:30pm on Tuesday September 26. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information and seek feedback on a proposed new Joint Operating Agreement between the MPCCA and the Vancouver Park Board. The JOA defines the terms under which the MPCCA provides programs at the community centre at #1 Kingsway.
If you participate in programs we welcome your particiation.
